My client is a large environmental company whose strength is the diversity, variety and creative of its people built up over 60 years in consultancy. Our client deals with a broad range of skills, which in turn has allowed them to build a comprehensive service portfolio and applied experience in a wide range of markets.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an recognized but developing waste management team. The role will involve:
• Having a good working knowledge of waste regulation, waste treatment and landfill disposal.
• Responsible for the delivery of high quality technical work packages and reports.
• The ability to project manage small projects or tasks and provide technical support into large multi-disciplinary projects.
• Support business development within the sector and provide technical input into projects in landfill/ waste management engineering, Environmental Permitting, landfill gas, leachate management and landfill remediation.
The Candidate
To be successful you will:
• BSc Engineering or Environmental Technology/ Management
• MSc Waste Management/ Environmental Management
• 3 years experience in any sector of waste.
• Familiarity with waste management legislation, waste management licensing, PPC permitting, landfill gas and leachate management and landfill remediation would be an advantage.
• Communicator & Effective Report Writer
• Valid UK Driving Licence
