Job Description

The role will involve working with other specialist disciplines in our clients Birmingham, Epsom and regional offices on the planning, design and delivery of remediation and regeneration projects; also including key technical and managerial responsibilities at all project stages from inception to delivery on site.
In this role your key responsibilities will be:
- Undertaking a team role in our clients supervisory duties
- Supervision of remediation of contaminated land including collection of validation data and preparation of validation reports
- Responsible for the design and supervision of investigations of contaminated land
- The preparation of interpretative reports and risk assessments
- The development of remediation options
- Assisting in the project management tasks of scheduling work and monitoring budgets
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders and regulators
- Providing specialist advice to clients and other divisions
- Working with the rest of the team in advancing our technical capability to the highest standard.

Skills Required:
- Should have a first degree in Environmental Science/Geology, ideally having a post graduate degree in a related subject
- Have experience in the design and management of geoenvironmental investigations and monitoring
- Have experience in undertaking and reporting Phase 1 and 2 geoenvironmental studies
- Have experience in undertaking environmental risk assessments
- Be numerate and familiar with IT and software appropriate to the tasks undertaken.
- Be familiar with relevant codes of practice and industry standards
- You will be expected to work in an integrated team of environmental specialists and geotechnical engineers and an understanding of related disciplines will be expected
- Have good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively
- Good technical and report writing skills
