Job Description
The Company
My client is a global property services consultancy that extremely well established with an excellent reputation as employer and client. They have offices in the UK, throughout Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Pacific, Africa and the Middle East and are renowned for offering high quality service and a premium brand.
The Role
They are enjoying sustained success and their Planning teams are expanding continually. They now require a Principal Planner to provide senior level support to Directors and senior staff in their London office.
This is an exciting opportunity that will involve:
• Preparing planning appraisals of land, buildings and concepts
• Undertaking research and analysis
• Preparing planning applications, including statements
• Writing complex reports and assisting in drawing up, presenting and negotiating competitive proposals
• Liaising and negotiating with planning officers, employees of consultant organizations and third parties
• Preparing and making presentations at meetings
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
• Be MRTPI, MRICS or equivalent qualification
• Have a detailed knowledge of the British Town Planning system
• Have experience of managing projects
• Be detail conscious and accurate
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Thrive under pressure and work to tight dead lines
