My client is a large environmental company whose strength is the diversity, variety and creative of its people built up over 60 years in consultancy. Our client deals with a broad range of skills, which in turn has allowed them to build a comprehensive service portfolio and applied experience in a wide range of markets.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established but expanding waste management team. The role will include:
• Good working knowledge of municipal waste contract procurement.
• Supporting the procurement of waste collection, treatment and disposal contracts on behalf of both private and public sector clients.
• Responsible for supporting Project Managers in the delivery of high quality technical work packages and reports. Knowledge of waste flow modeling would be advantageous.
The Candidate
To be successful you will:
• BSc Environmental/ Engineering
• MSc Environmental/ Engineering
• Five years or more experience of waste contract procurement and/or management
• Familiarity with waste treatment, legislation as well as planning, licensing or permitting would also be useful as will consultancy experience.
• Valid driving licence
