Our client has an impressive current portfolio of prestigious geotechnical and tunneling projects in the UK and internationally including high profile rail projects in central London, Dubai and South Africa. They are looking to expand the current team of dedicated technical specialists to deliver these exciting commissions and to extend their capability further within the UK and worldwide.
They are offering exciting opportunities for Senior and Principal Geotechnical Engineers in their North of England teams in Warrington, Leeds, Newcastle and Stockton.
These positions offer you the chance to work with a wide range of public and private sector clients and to develop your management and technical skills.

Requirements
- Good academic background to MSc or equivalent and be chartered. A strong track record in geotechnical analysis and design is required.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of technical / academic ability within a fast moving commercial consultancy environment. Knowledge of modern construction techniques would be an advantage.
- Experience of preparing and negotiating bids and tenders and the successful execution and completion of small and major projects.
- Have a flare for innovation, good communication and delivery of high quality report writing skills is required.
- Must be a team player / manager and be able to supervise and develop other geotechnical engineers.
- Expert knowledge of UK legislation and practices
- Excellent oral and written communication
- UK driving license
- Candidates in a position to obtain UK security clearance to SC level would be an advantage
