The Company
Our client is a well-recognized, reputable company within the environmental industry. They are a large multidisciplinary consultancy dealing with operation in 50 countries worldwide. Within the UK they have employed over 500 employees in eleven offices. This leading international company has an exciting opportunity for a Waste Technical Manager to join their expanding waste team.
The Role
• Offer and deliver technical solutions to meet the business and client expectations. Maintain and develop expertise and continue to increase technical breadth.
• Will act as a technical lead on a range of projects and proposals and communicate complex issues to colleagues and clients.
• Will manage projects including costs, performance, delivery of reports, presentations and other deliverables.
• Resolve technical and financial queries through consultation with project managers and technical managers where appropriate.
• Devise or select the most appropriate method of project delivery by considering implications.
• Prioritise work, define and allocate tasks, regularly communicate and provide updates and direction by regularly meeting with the project team.
The Candidate
To be successful you will:
• Educated to degree level or higher in an environmental sciences related degree.
• Hold membership of a professional institution.
• Knowledge and practical application of skills surrounding Waste Procurement and general Waste Regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex subjects clearly.
• Applicants are required to have a full driving licence
